This isn’t anything new. Ever since Trump returned to office, he and Washington Republicans have plotted to auction off our public lands to the highest bidder:
Republicans in Congress cooked up a scheme to sell off millions of acres of public lands — including our parks and forests here in Colorado — before John helped strip it from the final budget, sending the GOP back to the drawing table.
Now, the Trump administration is aiming to bend federal policy to de-prioritize conservation and elevate commercial uses of public lands — affecting over two hundred MILLION acres of land under the Bureau of Land Management's authority.
Listen, Trump and the Republicans might just want to exploit Colorado’s forests and grasslands to turn a quick buck, but to Coloradans, our national forests, parks, and public lands are truly priceless.
