Friend --
The road to the White House is
powered by Black women and we cannot continue to deliver victories for
the Democratic Party, but be overlooked on the issues that matter to
us most.
Presidential candidate, Joe Biden
must
choose a Black woman Vice President.
Won't you add your name to a
growing list Black women urging Joe Biden to pick a Black woman as his
running mate?

In the next 126 days, Black women
will be key to igniting Black voters across all demographics to show
up in record numbers. There has not been a Democratic presidential
nominee in over 40 years that has won the White House without Black
women’s leadership and votes—including President Barack Obama,
President Bill Clinton, and President Jimmy Carter.
The list of Black women who could
strengthen the Democratic ticket is long and impressive. These women
are already leading in their respective roles, and have the
experience, qualifications and trusted leadership that could lead
Democrats to victory as a vice-presidential running mate this year --
from Sen. Harris, to Stacey Abrams, Congresswomen Val Demings and
Marcia Fudge, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottom, or Ambassador Susan Rice, the
presumptive Democratic nominee has an opportunity to choose a Black
woman running mate that will fight for the issues that matter most to
our communities.
We must urge Joe Biden to seize
this historic opportunity to choose a Black woman running mate who
will fight for the issues that matter most to the American people and
help deliver a decisive victory and a successful Biden
presidency.
All of these Black women leaders
are more than qualified to lead this country forward and show up
for all communities to fight for the issues that matter most to our
families.
Higher Heights was built for this
exact moment and even in our new
normal we are continuing
to give Black women the tools to be informed, engaged and to take
action.
Onward,
Glynda
