We have some unfinished business to attend to — and as you know, I’m not going to quit on a job before it’s done. 

We can be damn proud of the progress we’ve made to build the good life here in Minnesota. We’ve got more kids in Pre-K and fewer in poverty, helped ensure families have dignified care for their loved ones, strengthened our roads and bridges, and provided more jobs with better pay and the strongest labor protections in the country — delivering real results that improve lives. 

Together, we’ve built one of the friendliest states to start or grow a business, one of the free-est states to live your life however you choose, and the best place to raise a child in the whole country. 

But the next chapter of the Minnesota story still remains to be written. And the truth is Donald Trump and his fellow MAGA extremists would love nothing more than to tear apart what we’ve built. 

I promise you this: I’ll never stop fighting to protect this state from Trump’s corruption and cruelty. And I’ll continue working to deliver security, opportunity, and freedom to every Minnesotan. But I can’t do it alone.
