Africa & Europe
We praise God for the successful launch of IJM Kenya’s Baseline Study, which brought together key leaders across the justice system and sparked meaningful dialogue around police reform. We’re grateful for the positive reception from government partners and their expressed commitment to act on the report’s findings. Please continue to pray that the momentum from this event leads to lasting change and that the report reaches even more hearts and hands in the days ahead.
Latin America
Next week, IJM Peru team members will travel to San Martín to lead a new installment of the Training Course for Community Advocates in the Protection of Children and Adolescents. Please pray for the 60 participants from four regions of Peru—that they travel safely, are encouraged by the experience and leave equipped to protect vulnerable children in their communities. We also lift up our team as they guide this important initiative, asking for strength, clarity and lasting impact.
South Asia
Praise God for seven young boys recently rescued from bondage at a hotel. Each day, they worked 16 hours in the kitchen under CCTV surveillance and constant threats of violence. At night, they slept on the floor in a small room next to the toilets. During the rescue operation, one boy softly whispered to IJM staff, "Promise you will not leave us here." Today, these boys are safe and recovering in freedom, and the hotel owner who abused them is being held accountable.
Asia Pacific
We thank God for the opportunity for survivor Andrew* and Andrey Sawchenko, IJM’s Regional Vice President for Forced Labor Programs in Asia Pacific, to represent IJM at the Global Anti-Scam Summit in Singapore. Their presence ensured that the voices of forced scamming victims remained central in conversations often dominated by financial loss. Please pray for wisdom and boldness as our teams continue to call on tech and financial leaders to disrupt scam compounds and collaborate with governments to protect the vulnerable.

We are grateful for the successful completion of orientation week, where new IJM staff were equipped and commissioned to serve the Lord in the fight for justice. It was a powerful time of connection, learning and spiritual grounding as they prepared to step into their roles. Please pray that each new team member carries forward the courage and conviction to pursue justice with compassion and faith.
