The last few weeks have been momentous ones. We've started to slowly open our city back up, and begin our climb back from the COVID-19 crisis. We've continued to reckon with systemic racism in policing, and in so many other aspects of our city and society.
Last week, we won some monumental electoral victories in the Democratic primary. And this week, we experienced the frustration of a city budget that fails to meet the moment.
