Being a Tejano artist gave me my voice, and I’m ready to ensure all of our voices are heard, but right now, that sure as hell isn’t happening.

Our Republican representative, Monica De La Cruz, has turned her back on working-class families by voting to give tax breaks to her billionaire friends. That’s not representation. That’s corruption.

I’m no career politician, but you don’t need to be one to know that the system isn’t working. And now, Republicans are rigging the system against us again by gerrymandering our congressional maps.

I grew up right here in the Valley, raised by parents who taught me that hard work and community come first. Today, I’m a small business owner and a father of four, and I see every day how broken our system feels for families trying to get ahead. I know what it’s like to live these struggles.

But if we’re loud enough, and if enough of us come together, we can take this seat back from billionaire-loving politicians like Monica De La Cruz and flip the House for Democrats.
