These events give families the chance to enjoy food, music, and activities while building connections with local leaders and learning about community resources. | Honoring A Servant Leader at Street Renaming Event | Alyce L. Feurtado dedicated her life to educating, mentoring, and serving others, leaving a lasting impact in the Queens community. In her honor, 142nd Street is now Alyce L. Feurtado Way. I was proud to celebrate her legacy with NYC Speaker Adrienne Adams at the street renaming event. | Ranking Member Meeks Issues Statement on Conclusion of Markup of State Department Authorization Bills | “While I believe that Chairman Mast agrees it is this committee’s duty to regularly authorize State, the process he undertook this year broke long-standing bipartisan precedent.
