Hi- When I stood in Minneapolis City Hall the morning after the shooting at Annunciation Catholic School, a thought kept repeating in my head: Another school shooting. Another. School. Shooting. How many times have we had to say that this year alone? Enough is enough. Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action—the grassroots arms of Everytown for Gun Safety—are doing all that we can to keep communities safe from gun violence. Because we can't afford inaction—not while our children are under the constant threat of gun violence. We have to demand action from our lawmakers, advocate for life-saving gun safety legislation, and kick lawmakers who are beholden to the gun lobby out. And we simply can't do it without your help.
These school shootings cannot become yet another headline that fades away to make room for the next.
