Dear Washingtonians,
It is with great DC pride that I can say it is official: we are bringing the Commanders home to RFK and activating 180 acres of opportunity on the banks of the Anacostia River!
This is something we have been working toward since my first day in office – a ten-year miracle in the making – and now we are on a path to opening day in 2030.
And while opening day is in 2030, the jobs and opportunities for DC residents and businesses will begin now. This will be the largest economic development project in DC history, and we’re ready to get DC residents and businesses to work right away, building housing, retail, hotels, parks, the stadium, a Sportsplex, and more in the best city in the world.

The redevelopment of the RFK campus will supercharge our Growth Agenda, and we’re ready to deliver for our city – our businesses, our people, our project.
This weekend, we’ll keep the celebration going with a Commanders watch party at the Deanwood Community Center as they take on the Raiders
Let's win.
Sincerely,
