This weekend, hundreds of volunteers will join our campaign for one last round of no-contact literature drops before Tuesday’s primary.
This wasn’t quite our plan at the beginning. It got lonely without the camaraderie of volunteers at campaign HQ, and without talking to voters face-to-face.
But as the pandemic struck, we were reminded every day of what we were fighting for.
We need Medicare for All, so no one loses healthcare when they lose a job. We need rent relief, mortgage help, and $2,000 a month for every citizen.
We need to expand Social Security and give our seniors a raise. We need leaders who will condemn police brutality and say “Black Lives Matter.”
And we need to fix a broken Congress that has failed to deliver by defeating corporate Democrats who stand in the way.
