This campaign just started. But I’m already barnstorming the state — starting with the 1,800 Texans who showed up in my hometown of Round Rock to kick off this campaign with less than 12 hours notice.

The very next day, I went down to San Antonio where I first started my public service as a public school teacher.

2,000 people showed up.

Then I went to Fort Bend...

Then Houston...

And I wrapped up our first week in deep-red Longview, Texas.

It was standing room only.

I’ve been overwhelmed by the number of Texans at these events.

And it’s not just Democrats showing up — it’s Independents and some curious Republicans too. I’ve also been blown away by the number of people at these events who tell me it’s their first political rally ever.

This is how we win.
