The Trump administration, in a request to the Supreme Court, stated that “the entire ACA must fall.” If Trump and his GOP allies get their way, 23 million people will be left without access to health care at a time when American are relying on it most.
Right now, Trump doesn’t have a solution to ensure coverage is not stripped away -- in fact, his administration’s short term plans often leave the cost of treatment on the shoulders of consumers. According to The Hill, “The plans will also charge women more than men, and deny women basic health services, like preventive screening procedures and routine tests, including pelvic exams.”
