During these trying times, it's important to share the small things that keep us going. In this edition, we hear from our Research Director, Shweta Moorthy.

“Half of It” on Netflix has been giving me life this month. It’s a beautiful coming of age story of Ellie Chu, a young Chinese high school student in a predominantly white, rural town in Washington. I have been thinking a lot about Mia Mingus talking about the work of liberation and transformative justice being at its core – relational, and to me this movie is just a beautiful homage to various loves and relationships – #friendlove #queerlove #parentallove, that nourish us and that we hold in return”.
