Is the max Power Plate frequency right for you?

The [Power Plate pro5 and pro7]([link removed]) are used by leading gyms, sports teams, clinics, country clubs-- and many people have them in their homes as well.

These machines have a max vibration "speed" of 50HZ.

At 50 Hz you’re at the top end of the machine’s frequency range.

That means the plate is oscillating 50 times per second, delivering extremely rapid mechanical stimulation into the body.

Compared to lower frequencies (25–35 Hz), the main benefits of 50 Hz are:

Maximum muscle activation: Each vibration triggers a reflexive contraction.

At 50 Hz you’re getting up to 3,000 contractions per minute, which recruits more motor units, even the ones that are normally “hard to reach.”

It’s essentially “turning on” more muscle fibers than you could consciously engage.

Greater stem cell and growth factor release: High-frequency vibration generates stronger mechanical loading on bone and connective tissue.

That increased shear and compression stimulates bone marrow–derived stem cells, nitric oxide, and growth hormone release at higher levels than lower settings.

Stronger circulation boost: Blood flow, lymphatic drainage, and nitric oxide signaling all peak at higher frequencies.

At 50 Hz you’re driving vasodilation and microcirculation more aggressively, which accelerates recovery and healing.

Pain relief and neuromuscular reset: Higher-frequency input overwhelms pain signals at the spinal cord level (gate control theory) and helps “reset” the neuromuscular feedback loop, so joints and muscles often feel looser and less painful within minutes.

By contrast, lower speeds (25–35 Hz) are often used for balance training, joint mobilization, warm-up, or people new to vibration — they’re gentler, less taxing, and easier to tolerate if you’re sore, stiff, or deconditioned.

So, in short: 50 Hz is your “performance and regeneration” setting — max muscle activation, circulation, and repair signaling.

Lower speeds are your “mobility and recovery” settings — easier on the body, more about balance, flexibility, and gentle stimulation.

New To Power Plate?

We want to highlight one of our wonderful Power Plate partners in the Bay Area and share an idea from them with you.

[Symmetry Health Center]([link removed])are a group of cutting edge body healers.

They have a dedicated Power Plate Therapy program called Acceleration Training.  These are 25 minute workouts which incorporate Yoga, stretching, bodyweight and more.

All on the Power Plate, which provides an incredible amplification, due to the waves of energy that pulse through the body at 30-50 times a second.

==>Key Idea: any exercise that you normally do, do on the Power Plate. They see consistent improvements in body fat and more when people exercise on the plates for these 25 minute periods.

If you are in the area, check them out and you'll get some great training that you'll use for life.

You can also create your own version of Acceleration training at home with your own [Power Plate MOVE]([link removed]) , [Personal Power Plate]([link removed]) or [larger home unit with a stand]([link removed]).

Acceleration Training offers a host of benefits, ranging from an immediate improvement in blood circulation, to a variety of other measurable outcomes:

-

Strength: Improves muscle tone, builds explosive power and endurance

-

Flexibility: Increases range of motion, coordination, balance and stability

-

Circulation: Improves & increases blood flow to strengthen the cardiovascular system

-

Weight Loss: Reduces body fat and enhances metabolism

-

Cellulite Reduction: Diminishes the appearance of cellulite

-

Build Bone Density: Increases bone density & prevents bone loss related to aging

-

Alleviate Pain: Promotes faster recovery, decreases pain and improves joint function

Select the "affirm" option when you check out to buy now, pay later at 0 percent interest.

If you have been on the fence, this allows you to try Power Plate for free.

A warning though--once you feel the energy and comfortable vibrations it'll be hard to give it up.

We started a [Power Plate Community on facebook]([link removed]), and we'd love for you to join.

Ask questions, give tips and make friends.

The main goal is that we share as many great training tips as possible.

There are so many uses for Power Plate, so many ways it helps people.

Different [Power Plate options can be seen here]([link removed]).

[The MY7]([link removed]) is really the dream machine for in home use.

[The MOVE]([link removed]) is by far the most popular home unit we sell. (I have this in my home)
