Dear John,

Texans are sick of Ken Paxton's misuse of the Office of Attorney General. Time and time again, Paxton has directed attention and resources away from really helping us. Instead, he uses the office to persecute his enemies and to ingratiate himself to the MAGA movement, all the while running from his own corrupt deeds.

Guess what... my opponents, the GOP frontrunners who would replace him, are fighting over who can be "Ken Paxton 2.0" and continue down the same misguided path.

Can I count on you to rush a donation of $5 or more to help power our campaign to restore the honor and integrity of the OAG?

Aaron Reitz — a former Paxton employee, proudly calls himself "a true MAGA attorney" and says he'll use the Office of Attorney General to do Trump's bidding and “fight the radical left”. Reitz is Ken Paxton's chosen candidate. 

Chip Roy — Ted Cruz’s choice, recently called for a new Congressional Committee to go after “the radical left’s assault on America and the rule of law…” Now that’s rich. But points for gumption! The left is assaulting the rule of law? Chip, have you read a newspaper lately?

John, I have a better idea.

What if, instead, we elect an AG who'll fight the forces that:

• close hospitals
  
• destroy family farms
  
• deprive schools of resources
• protect corporate power that's sucking jobs and money out of Texas communities
• drive small businesses out of business
• shutter local grocery stores
  poison you with hyper-processed foods

and use your tax money to do it?

What if, instead, we elect an AG who'll fight to stop the politicians who:

• abuse the power of public office for personal and political gain
• dance to puppet strings pulled by DC manipulators who don’t understand or care about Texas 
• perform stunt after stunt to jerk your attention away from their corruption, incompetence, and greed?

As your next Attorney General, I'm going to use the office for what it was meant to do: defend and protect Texans from abuse of all kinds.
