Honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk

Charlie Kirk was a remarkable man who was admired by defenders of free speech not only in our country but around the world. He was a devoted father, husband, and follower of Christ.

His assassination was a dark and tragic day for our country. I am proud that our House Republican Conference has come together to honor his legacy and stand united against those who would try to justify or excuse this political violence.

New York Post: Some teachers caught vilely mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination still in the classroom— as House Republican calls for probe

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) told The Post the teachers in question have, “no business shaping the minds of America’s youth. I have never been more disgusted with people than I have this week, watching the reaction to Charlie Kirk’s assassination,” Jackson said. “The fact that schoolteachers entrusted to educate our children are cheering his death is sickening.”

“China and our adversaries are pouring massive resources into AI, and America cannot afford to fall behind,” Jackson told the DCNF. “The GUARD Act delivers on President Trump’s mission to ensure America remains the global leader in defense innovation, giving our warfighters the AI-driven edge to dominate our enemies and protect America’s future.”

My Amarillo office had a great time meeting with the Texas Pork Producers Association's Junior Ambassadors on their 2025 industry tour! This program provides students with real-world experiences in agriculture that helps them grow as leaders and advocates.

I’m glad my team was able to visit with them and talk about the issues I work on as part of the House Agriculture Committee and as the Representative for TX-13, one of the largest ag districts in the country. Proud to see these students stepping up as the next generation of advocates for Texas agriculture!
