Dear JOHN, Another week in the D.C. sewer—Democrats tried to spend more of your money. Shocking, I know. They wanted to spend over a trillion new dollars in the CR, but we pushed back and got the CR passed. Y’all know I don’t like CRs. Actually, I hate them, but I held my nose and voted for it. The government will stay open (yay). The main takeaway is that we need to start having budget hearings and actually dealing with them! It’s not rocket science to this East Tennessee boy. Trump’s cleanup of DC is working—despite the left’s screaming. You can’t argue with the facts, folks. Violent crime reduced by 36%. A week of ZERO murders—unheard of in DC. My weekend plans?
