The best is yet to come from the Liberal Democrats. There’s no denying we have some growing to do as a party, but I am ready to get stuck in and build us back up as a radical, progressive voice for voters.
Personally, I’m incredibly excited about the future. My vision to shift us into that vacant centre-left space will provide voters with the option for real change as we develop our new way of life post-coronavirus. My campaign video sets this out, which you can see below:
<[link removed]>My campaign pillars have already provided a glimpse into the direction I want us to take; fighting the climate crisis by pledging to be carbon negative, not just carbon neutral; equal access to a world-class education system, designed by teachers; and a Universal Basic Income to provide everyone with the essentials of living, all while working cross party on common interests to drive change.
We have a chance to reshape the way we operate as a society - protecting the wellbeing of key workers, the glue holding us together through these tough times; investing in green initiatives to save our environment after seeing nature reinvigorated throughout lockdown; and supporting workers facing redundancies by providing a life-long educational programme to up-skill our society.
If, like me, this is your vision for our society, then you have a chance to do something about it - join the Liberal Democrats, vote for me as your Leader and join the movement to help us all Move Forward Together.
