NIMBYs are flooding Governor Gavin Newsom's office with calls against SB 79 – and LA mayor Karen Bass has urged him to veto it. Will you fight back and ask Governor Newsom to sign SB 79?

Legislative passage of SB 79 was a massive victory seven years in the making. We overcame enormous opposition from NIMBYs at every turn. Each vote in committee and on the floor was close.

But YIMBYs like you stepped up and put in the work to win – including thousands of emails and calls. Those contacts made a major difference and helped secure the votes we needed.

Unsurprisingly, NIMBYs are furious and desperate. They know they have one last chance to stop SB 79 from becoming law: flood the Governor's office with calls urging him to veto it.

We don't have any indication the Governor would actually veto SB 79. But opponents are turning up the pressure, and we can't take any chances. Let's make sure his office hears from as many of us as possible in support of SB 79.
