Hi John, 

Wednesday night's Green Tie event was the perfect night of celebration and love.

A special thank you to our generous sponsors, ticket purchasers, partners, and all our members. Whether you were there in-person or not, supporters like you make events like this possible. In these trying times, Wednesday night was a necessary reminder that we can push back against the division and hate with love and support for one another.

I am inspired by our awardees pushing the boundaries and standing up for communities. And I am energized by the spirit you all brought to the event. It gave me a new fire to keep fighting for communities where justice, opportunity, and a healthy environment flourish for generations to come.

As I said on Wednesday, I refuse to allow the Trump administration and their supporters to take my love of this country and all the beautiful places and people in it. I am grateful to be working alongside all of you.

Together we will resist. Together we will protect our environment, democracy, and our health.

This movement is only possible because of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support.
