John, I’m proud to call Tennessee my home.

But right now, Tennesseans are scared.

I helped load the last box in my neighbor’s U-Haul as they left the state — because they no longer felt safe raising their kids here.

I’ve held friends as they sobbed, terrified of getting pregnant in Tennessee.

I’ve held back tears listening to so many of you share how this government has chosen profit over your chance to live meaningful, productive lives.

I’m tired of losing people I care about because they don’t feel like they can be safe and prosperous here.

I remember what it was like — not too long ago — when Tennessee felt full of possibility.

We deserve to get back there: with well-funded schools, happy kids, thriving families, and communities where everyone has a fair shot.

That’s why I’m running for Congress. Tennesseans deserve more than breadcrumbs.
