Did you know that only about 1% of the world’s cultural heritage institutions make their collections openly accessible online? That means that the vast majority of our shared history, art, and culture remains locked away from the public.

At Creative Commons, we believe cultural heritage should be open and accessible to everyone, everywhere. Our new official partnership with UNESCO and the upcoming release of our Open Heritage Statement are critical steps in making that vision a reality. But we can’t do this work without you.
