This Sun Day, join thousands of activists across the country for a day of action for the clean energy revolution! [link removed] Friend, we know it’s a dark time, with dangerous attacks on our
communities, climate progress, and environmental safeguards happening daily,
which is why we need to join together in community to celebrate the light that
clean energy creates! On Sunday Sep 21, we’re joining a national day of action
to celebrate the progress we’ve made and push for more. With more than 350
events around the country, activists will be installing new solar, hosting
e-bike parades, giving heat pump tours, and rallying for change. RSVP NOW [link removed] LCV is working around the clock to protect climate progress by rallying with
activists like you across the country to hold polluters accountable and push for
an equitable and just clean energy future. Powerful fossil fuel interests and their allies are fighting back harder than
ever, spending millions to slow progress and protect their profits. They’re
rolling back clean energy policies, spreading misinformation, and blocking the
infrastructure we need to complete this transition despite the fact that solar,
wind, and batteries are the cheapest form of power on the planet. Clean energy jobs are growing faster than any other sector and we know that
clean energy sources like solar will save people across the country money on
their energy bills while making our communities healthier and more resilient in
the face of climate change. We need to come together to protect clean energy
jobs and make energy more affordable! That’s why we are joining Sun Day as the next mass mobilization to make a
difference in your community NOW and build solidarity with everyone in this
