Two weeks ago, we launched our first TV ad of the general election — something we couldn’t have done without the help of our incredible grassroots supporters like you.

Today, I’m calling on our grassroots team again to help us keep our ads on the air. I’ll explain why we need your support in a second, but if you’re already with us, can you chip in today?

This race is one of the most competitive in New Jersey history, and polls show me virtually tied with my opponent. With the finish line in sight, my team and I are going to be spending the next 46 days working non-stop to reach undecided voters and share my vision for a better New Jersey.

But here’s the deal: while I’m spending my days on the campaign trail and spreading my message across the state, I’m also facing blows from my opponent and his deep-pocketed supporters in Washington.

My opponent is flooding the airwaves with attacks against me and lying about my vision for our state. And to be honest, unless we get more funding to keep our ads on the air, our positive vision is going to get drowned out by his attacks.

We cannot afford to let that happen this close to Election Day — there’s simply too much at stake. Please, will you pitch in whatever you can to help me fight back and keep our ads on the air?
