Did you hear? HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has accused the FDA of “twisting the data” about the safety of the abortion pill and has called for a long-overdue review of the safety of mifepristone.

“We’re getting data in all the time — new data on that — we’re reviewing. We know that during the Biden administration, they actually twisted the data to bury one of the safety signals — a very high safety signal, around 11%, so we’re going to make sure that that doesn’t happen anymore.”

Earlier this year, the Ethics and Public Policy Center exposed the truth about the abortion pill’s so-called safety. Their study revealed that nearly 11% of women who take the abortion pill suffer serious and even life-threatening complications as a result, including hemorrhaging and sepsis — a rate 22 times higher than the FDA’s claim of just 0.5%.
The truth is that the abortion pill has never been safe. It’s deadly by design, with its sole purpose being to end the life of an innocent preborn baby.
For years, it has been recklessly marketed to women as a quick fix to the ‘problem’ of their unwanted pregnancies — like taking Tylenol for a headache — all while health officials turned a blind eye, putting millions at risk.
Women deserve better than a system that prioritizes abortion industry profits over their safety and wellbeing. And our preborn children deserve better than to be intentionally killed in the very place where they should be the safest: their mothers’ wombs.
