The right is obsessed with destroying things. This week, Trump ordered the destruction of millions of dollars’ worth of birth control bills, IUDs, and hormonal implants purchased by USAID for women who can’t afford them. These products could have made a difference for women in need. Instead, the administration decided to let them in a storehouse before destroying them so nobody can use them. Oh, and the estimated cost just to deprive women of care? About $167,000. 

After all, why should they care about women’s health?
