Democrat,
While we still have 46 days until November 4, the election actually starts tomorrow. Vote-by-mail ballots will begin to go out tomorrow, September 20. There's never been a better time to get involved, whether it’s picking up a volunteer shift, attending one of our events, or simply speaking with your friends, family, and neighbors about making a plan to vote. This is it. This is what we’ve been working for all year. We need to get into high gear and power through these next 46 days to elect Mikie Sherrill and Dale Caldwell. The alternative is simply not acceptable.
Make sure you tune in for the first gubernatorial debate between Mikie Sherrill and Jack Ciattarelli this Sunday, September 21 at 7pm. Click here for more information on how to watch and cheer on our champion, Mikie!
— Chairman LeRoy J. Jones, Jr.

As the proud granddaughter of a union worker, Mikie Sherrill knows how important our unions are to building opportunities for working families. Her commitment to protecting collective bargaining rights, investing in New Jersey’s pension system, and lowering costs for working families has earned her a 100% lifetime score from the AFL-CIO. This week, she received two more labor endorsements, from the Hotel and Gaming Trades Council and the New Jersey State Electrical Workers Construction Division Association.

In a time of Trump-enacted price hikes and economic chaos, New Jersey needs a governor who will stand tough and be laser focused on cutting costs for families. There’s no question Mikie Sherrill is that leader. She’s got plans to save you time and money, bring down utility costs, and ensure New Jerseyans know exactly how their hard-earned tax dollars are being spent.
Jack’s agenda? Raising costs on New Jersey families at every turn.
-
He’s endorsed Trump’s painful tariffs that are wrecking our economy.
-
He fully supports Trump’s price hike federal budget that raises NJ families’ utility prices by over $200 per year, kicks New Jerseyans off their healthcare, and jacks up prices if they’re still on, and permanently reinstates the SALT cap, a double tax on New Jerseyans.
-
When he previously held elected office, he voted to let more businesses charge a sales tax, raise taxes in his own hometown of Raritan, raise taxes by 7.4% in Somerset County, and voted against massive property tax relief.
-
On the campaign trail, he’s telling people “their property taxes are going to go up” and putting a 10% sales tax on all items, including food and clothing is “on the table.”
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: New Jersey can’t afford a Governor Ciattarelli.

While we still have over a month until Election Day, voting begins this upcoming week as vote-by-mail ballots start to be sent out.
