Laura and I join millions of Americans in mourning the horrific loss of Charlie Kirk. Charlie leaves behind a legacy of love of God, love of family, and love of country. He lit a fire that brought so many young Americans along with him, and his voice for conservative values echoed far beyond Arizona.
This assassination was sheer evil. Political violence has no place in our country. As a nation, we must be better than this—and it must end.
Charlie believed in free speech and lived that belief by example. In these divided times, we can all learn from his commitment to engagement over division.
Laura and I are praying for Erika, their two young children, his friends, the entire Turning Point family, and all who were touched by his work. They have lost a loving husband and father, and we have lost a Patriot the likes of which we will not see again.
Prayerfully,
Juan
