Israel’s Holocaust Survivors need you
for more than just food

HELP NOW

When missiles from Iran rained down on Israel this summer, entire buildings collapsed in seconds. Over 45,000 property damage claims were filed, totaling more than 5 billion shekels.

But what wasn't in the headlines:
Six Holocaust Survivors lost their lives.

One woman — 91 years old — was just steps from a safe room.
But it had been used for decades as storage and was completely inaccessible.

She had survived the ghettos. Survived starvation.
But she did not survive this.

She’s not alone.

Today in Israel:

18%

of Holocaust Survivors have

no accessible safe room

of Holocaust Survivors have no accessible safe room

20%

are homebound, unable

to leave without help

35.8%

live completely alone

For many, this is the second or even third war of their lifetime.
And this time, they have no strength left to run.

HELP NOW

At Meir Panim, we’re still showing up — even as the war drags on, and social and welfare government programs get cut to help pay for defense.

Every day, we deliver hot meals, check in on homebound Survivors, and coordinate urgent support.

We ask the questions no one else is asking:

“Do you need help with your hearing aid?”

“Are these bills on the table paid?”

“Have you eaten today?”

“When was your last doctor’s visit?”

We support over 2,200 Holocaust Survivors daily, in 5 cities across Israel.

We know their names. We know their stories. We know exactly what they’ve already lived through. We know their struggles, and we do everything we can do to provide for their needs, from getting a new fridge, to contacting the right government offices about fixing the inaccessible safe rooms.
