Winter Wonderland will be back at Old Market Square this Christmas! Opening on Wednesday 12 November, you can expect to see the return of the Ice Rink and Sky Skate Ice Path, Observation Wheel, Christmas Market stalls, Ice Bar, festive food and drink, and free entertainment throughout the holiday season.

As always, entry is completely free, meaning everyone can wander through the festive markets, enjoy the sights, and soak up the Christmas spirit. Online pre-bookings will open soon for ice skating and the bars - watch this space.

Save the date for It’s in Nottingham’s Christmas Market at Nottingham Castle this November! Extending the magic to three days this year, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with more stalls, entertainment, and family-friendly activities, all set against the stunning backdrop of Nottingham Castle.

Visitors can explore a wide range of handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, and local delicacies. With live music, craft workshops, and a chance for children to meet Santa, there’s something for everyone. Tickets will go on sale on Monday 3 November, priced at £2 per person (plus booking fee).

There's just one week to go until Goose Fair opens! New rides this year include the steampunk-themed Time Machine, and Skyfall, the world’s tallest portable drop tower standing at an impressive 80-metres high. There will also be lots of returning favourites and all the Goose Fair classics, plus side-show games and attractions.

SEND sessions will take place on Sundays from 12pm-1pm, allowing children and people with special educational needs and disabilities to enjoy the fair without the loud noises and bright lights.

The *Homemade Cafe* [ [link removed] ] and *Forest Sports Zone [ [link removed] ]* at the Forest Recreation Ground will be open as usual during the fair.

Art Fest is back for its second year, returning with a vibrant celebration of visual art that will transform the city into an open-air exhibition. Spanning from Victoria Centre through to Hockley and into the creative heart of Sneinton Market, this free, family-friendly festival runs from 10am-6pm and invites everyone to witness art in action.

Supported by It's in Nottingham, the event features more than 50 international and local artists, creating live murals on the street plus paint jams, creative workshops, exhibitions, and guided art tours. You can also shop with your favourite independent businesses at the Midlands Makers Market at Sneinton Market Avenues.
