Familia,
Join us to celebrate a decade of progress and hear from a passionate leader fighting for equitable representation.
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Virginia Elizondo will be a guest speaker. Dr. Elizondo has been at the forefront of advocating for fair representation in Spring Branch ISD as an educator, candidate and most recently as a plaintiff. In April, a judge ruled that SBISD’s previous system for electing school board trustees violated the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by diluting the Hispanic vote. The court ordered SBISD to establish a new, fairer system—one that will be more likely to give the Hispanic community a seat at the table and ensure that our interests are taken into account.
It is set to be an inspring evening and we do not want you to miss it. Click here and register today. We hope to see you there.
In Solidarity,
The Latino Texas PAC Board
