Heading into their next term, the Court is being asked to take up several
cases where Trump blew past the limits of his executive authority — on
tariffs, immigration, and removing federal appointees.
Lower courts have already pushed back against Trump’s lawlessness and
ruled against him. But now, his lawyers are appealing to get the Supreme
Court involved.
Here’s the bad news, John: When
Trump has asked the Court to back his power grabs before, the far-right
majority — including his three handpicked justices — has almost always
sided with him.
The courts need to protect the Constitution, not a lawless president. If
we don’t stop him now, then Trump will keep eroding our rights and
stacking the bench with extremist judges who will tear up the rule of law
for a generation.
