Donald Trump’s presidency has been about one thing: silencing his opponents. If you make a joke at his expense, then he’ll shred the First Amendment and have you fired. Just ask Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel. If you speak out against his policies, he’ll have you locked up or deported. Just like peaceful demonstrators on college campuses or ANTIFA members who are now designated terrorists. If you vote against him, he’ll gerrymander your district away or send the National Guard to wreak havoc on your cities. Just ask Texas Democrats or the good folks in D.C. and Los Angeles. In Trump’s America, you don’t have the right to free speech if he doesn’t like what you say. You don’t have the right to assemble if he disagrees with your cause. You don’t have the right to vote if you vote against him.
