Donald Trump's latest assault on the free press is frightening, James.

Trump’s FCC Commissioner just pressured a network into silencing Jimmy Kimmel – all because he didn't like what Jimmy had to say.

This is the future of our country, James, if we don't stand up right now and speak out. Before I go on, will you join me in protecting free speech and condemning this pure act of authoritarianism?

So far, Donald Trump has worked overtime to silence PBS and NPR, he's suing the New York Times, sued CBS News, and now he's come after Jimmy.

We're talking about a guy who erratically spews hate and misinformation on his social media late into the night. A guy who, on his first day of this term, signed an Executive Order banning censorship.

Make no mistake, this is a full-on attack on our 1st Amendment rights.

If we do not speak up now, we won't have a democracy to speak up for anymore. If you've been waiting for the time to make your voice heard, I'm urging you to make today the day. Please, will you sign on to protect free speech and condemn Trump's authoritarian rule?
