Donald Trump is attempting to disenfranchise voters in a blatantly illegal power grab — and California is fighting back.

I filed a lawsuit against Trump and Pam Bondi back in April challenging an Executive Order that tries to impose sweeping voter restrictions around the country. 

The Trump administration tried to have our lawsuit dismissed — but in a critical step forward for our democratic values, the court has now denied that motion.

This is simple: Trump is not king. He cannot just unilaterally rewrite state election law and upend our voting systems however he sees fit.
