We are proud to celebrate this yearโ€™s Hispanic Heritage Month theme of Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future. The National Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15 โ€“ October 15, 2025. The HISCO Executive Board would like to hear from the AFGE Hispanic/Latinx community and its allies. Please attend the next regular business meeting TONIGHT, Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 7:00pm - 8:00pm (EST). During this meeting, the HISCO Executive Board would like to introduce themselves and give a brief overview of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) for Hispanic Heritage Month.

HISCO/PRIDE Intersectionality Panel: AFGE leaders will share their personal experiences regarding the intersectionality of identifying as Hispanic/Latinx and LGBTQIA+. The panel will also discuss how these combined identities impact their lives inside and outside of AFGE and the workplace.
