Hi, it’s Congressman Robert Garcia, the top-ranking Democrat on the House Oversight Committee.

Last week, Democrats finally secured the release of never-before-seen documents from the Epstein estate — including Donald Trump’s creepy handwritten birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein.

Then, my Republican counterpart on the House Oversight Committee, James Comer, resorted to personal, bigoted attacks against me over our efforts to fight for transparency and hold Donald Trump’s feet to the fire… which is my job, after all.

Comer called me a drama queen and said, “hopefully [I’ll] mature up,” because he’s so terrified of what we’ll uncover next that all he can do is resort to tired, homophobic insults.

Let’s call this what it is: A desperate attempt to distract from their obstruction.

Donald Trump lied about this note. He wrote it. And now, House Republicans are obstructing our investigation at every turn to keep the full truth from coming out.

But while Comer and his allies block subpoenas, hide documents, and carry water for a serial predator’s best friend, Democrats are pushing forward and reviewing new evidence, interviewing witnesses, and demanding the DOJ turn over the full Epstein files.

We're just getting started. But the reality is, there's only so much we can do while Republicans hold the majority and keep playing cover-up for Donald Trump.
