The Hyde Amendment has been blocking abortion coverage for nearly 50 years—robbing low-income people, young people, and communities of color of the freedom to make their own decisions about pregnancy. |
|
|
Hyde is a deliberate policy rooted in racism, classism, and misogyny. It was designed to deepen inequities, and it continues to deny care to this day. |
|
|
Thanks to cuts to Title X funding, access to birth control, STI testing and treatment, and sex education are also under attack. These restrictions are an injustice, and they are part of the same pattern: controlling our communities instead of caring for them. |
But together, we’re building something different.
Reproductive justice is about more than individual policies—it's about creating a world where all of us have the freedom, dignity, and resources to live healthy lives. |
👉 That’s why we’re hosting a Town Hall Join us to learn more about: - How the Hyde Amendment harms our communities
-
What Title X funding cuts mean for birth control and sexual health
- How we can organize for abortion access, reproductive justice, and health equity
📅 Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 6pm ET
