As we’re not physically going to festivals or garden parties this summer, we have been hosting a series of events about the fundamentals of a Green Recovery: how to build resilient communities, the importance of creating an economy that works for people and the planet rather than people and planet working for the economy, and now, the importance of participatory democracy. Caroline has kindly shared her thoughts on the importance of participatory democracy to get us all thinking in advance of our upcoming series of live events.

As Caroline says, an inclusive democracy means putting people at the heart of decision making, through collaborative discussions and a politics of participation.
