ASBN Members-Only Meetings & Opportunities
Clean Water - Steering Committee
🔒 Members Only | October 13th, 1 PM ET | 12 PM CT | 11 AM MT | 10 AM PT
The Clean Water is Good For Business Steering Committee works with businesses to advocate for cleaner water and better water infrastructure.
October 13th Focus: We are continuing our discussion on protecting the Clean Water Act and the ways that we can leverage state business voices in that fight.
Last month’s meeting recap: We discussed the PERMIT Act and Section 401 of the Clean Water Act, both of which would roll back vital clean water protections under the guise of being “good for business.” We are continuing to elevate the true business impacts of these policies.
📣Take Action: As political landscapes shift, we want to hear directly from you about your clean water priorities. ([link removed]) Your input will help shape our advocacy and ensure that business voices are front and center in this debate.
Tell us how you want to use your business’s voice to advocate for change in clean water here ([link removed]) .

The Regenerative Agriculture Initiative is working to advocate for sustainable agriculture, environmental justice, and support for underserved and BIPOC farmers.
We are anticipating that Congress will have released a draft of the farm bill by this point, but it is unclear what will be included in it. We will be discussing the next steps in the debates and marker bills that have been introduced. The steering committee will be discussing how to best engage as a coalition, as well as where there are opportunities to advance our priorities.
📣Take Action:
Has your business or someone in your supply chain depended on USDA funding?
