Friend,
Our hearts continue to be broken daily by the images and news coming out of Gaza and the West Bank. So many of you have already taken action from our email earlier this week. And if you haven’t had a chance yet, we encourage you to write to your member of Congress and ask them to cosponsor the Block the Bombs Act.
And, as a member of the Corporate Accountability community, we invite you to join the second edition of Reading Towards Corporate Accountability: Palestine to learn more about the corporations propping up and profiting from apartheid and destruction — and the campaigns to challenge them.
This cycle we will meet on the following Thursdays: October 9, November 13, and December 11, 6 – 7:30 p.m. ET.
Each month we’ll gather to discuss key learnings and takeaways from the materials (such as book chapters, podcast episodes, official reports, and more), learn about powerful corporate campaigns, and connect with other members of the Corporate Accountability community.
This October, we’ll start by digging deeper into the groundbreaking report “From economy of occupation to economy of genocide” released earlier this year by Francesca Albanese, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The report illustrates the web of corporations across industries – from fossil fuels to finance — enabling and profiting from Israel’s apartheid, occupation, and genocide against Palestinians.
Register here for the zoom link and to have the materials sent to your inbox. Please reach out to us with any questions!
We’re looking forward to learning about and challenging corporate power, together.
Onward,

Corporate Accountability stops transnational corporations from devastating democracy, trampling human rights, and destroying our planet. We are building a world rooted in justice where corporations answer to people, not the other way around -- a world where every person has access to clean water, healthy food, a safe place to live, and the opportunity to reach their full human potential.
