You’ve probably heard the news about Jimmy Kimmel.
After threats from Donald Trump’s FCC, ABC announced last night that they’re cancelling Kimmel’s late-night show – indefinitely.
Why? Because Trump couldn't handle getting criticized.
This isn’t just about one TV show, though. This is a dangerous assault on our free speech and another clear sign that our democratic values are under attack.
But let’s be clear: These authoritarian-style tactics of silencing dissent and punishing Trump’s opposition aren’t new… and they don’t seem to be going away.
That’s why I’m running for Congress in Iowa’s Third District.
We need leaders who will fight to protect free speech and our free press, defend our Constitution, and uphold our democracy – not tear them down like Trump and Zach Nunn.
