OUR FORESTS ARE UNDER ATTACK:
STOP Trump from Rescinding Forest Protections!
The Trump administration proposed eliminating protections for 45 MILLION ACRES of our national forests. If they succeed, it would mean more logging, more roads in pristine, undeveloped
wilderness, and the destruction of old-growth forests that are essential to our
climate and wildlife habitats.
Submit your comment today to keep our forests protected from Trump’s dirty energy agenda before it’s too late >> [link removed] HANDS OFF OUR NATIONAL FORESTS >> [link removed] For over a decade, the Roadless Rule has protected millions of acres of national forests in 36 states and Puerto Ricofrom destructive development. But now, the Trump administration is pushing a
reckless plan to eliminate these protections and hand over our forests to corporate polluters. This isn’t just a policy change — it’s an all-out assault on our forests, our
climate, and our communities. The Roadless Rule is one of the most important safeguards we have to protect
critical wildlife habitats and intact landscapes. It preserves critical buffer
zones for increasingly catastrophic wildfires, keeps the water that millions of
people rely on clean and free from pollution, and prohibits timber production in
old-growth forests like the Tongass and forests from North Carolina to
California. We can’t let the timber industry and other polluters get the green light to tear down irreplaceable old-growth forests — and we need your voice, Friend, to fight back. Help us reach 5,000 comments opposing this attack on our forests >> [link removed] TAKE ACTION NOW [link removed] This rollback is a blatant, reckless giveaway to corporate polluters — and the
costs will be devastating: Old-growth forests destroyed, releasing massive amounts of carbon and worsening the climate crisis.
Drinking water poisoned or diminished for millions of Americans.
Wildlife habitat shattered, pushing vulnerable species to the brink.
Wildfires made more destructive, fueled by new roads and reckless development.
Our last wild places lost forever, sacrificed for corporate profits. The Department of Agriculture is taking public comments now — and they need to
hear from all of us. Add your voice today to defend our forests, our climate,
and our communities. Please, submit your comment today to protect our old-growth forests and fight Trump’s reckless plan to rescind the Roadless Rule >> [link removed] For the trees. Francesca Governali
