The King and the Prime Minister may have to play nice with Donald Trump, but millions of people across the UK understand that the US President is one of the biggest threats to tolerance, democracy and the rule of law around the world.

- He has normalised xenophobia, climate scepticism and far right rhetoric. 
- He has removed rights and healthcare for millions of Americans while giving tax cuts to billionaires.
- He has undermined international law, reduced support for Ukraine and emboldened Putin as he tests NATO’s defences in Europe. 
- He has hit the UK with trade tariffs that are increasing prices and costing jobs. 

In short - He is a thin-skinned and capricious bully. 

On Wednesday, crowds gathered outside Parliament to give Trump the kind of welcome he really deserves and Best for Britain was right there with them.
