Hi John,
Weβre excited to share big news: Creative Commons is now an official NGO partner to UNESCO (consultative status)! ([link removed])
This new partnership is an important recognition of our shared commitment to openness. As an official NGO partner, Creative Commons (CC) will now have the opportunity to contribute to UNESCO's program and to interact with other official partner NGOs with common goals.
This will only strengthen existing efforts. Specifically, next month, our TAROCH (Towards a Recommendation on Open Cultural Heritage) Coalition will publish an Open Heritage Statement that sets out shared values, challenges, and priorities for closing the global gap in equitable access to heritage in the public domain.
Want to learn more? Join our Open Heritage Statement Launch on 14 October, 14:00 UTC. Mark your calendars and click here to register ([link removed]) .
Thank You!
