** ZOA Mourns the Passing of Zionist & Legal Giant Kenneth Bialkin
------------------------------------------------------------

ZOA mourns the passing of the Zionist and legal giant Kenneth Bialkin. Ken was past Chair of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, of which the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) was a founding charter member. He was a senior partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

"Ken spoke and wrote relentlessly in defense of his beloved Jewish State of Israel. I, Mort Klein, am proud to have called him my dear and close and valued friend. We were in regular contact and I always learned so much from Ken’s insights. All of us at ZOA will miss him terribly."

May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
