Dear friend,
We are excited to share the launch of our newest publication, Solidarity Philanthropy: Redefining Philanthropy’s Relationship to Social Movements.
Built on decades of practice with global movements and grounded in solidarity, justice, and internationalism, this publication is both a reflection of what we’ve learned and a guide for how we can reshape philanthropy together.
For far too long, philanthropy has been embedded in systems of exploitation and inequality. But collectively, we can change that. Solidarity philanthropy opens the door to transformation — where resources return to communities, power is shared, and movements lead on their own terms.
Inside the publication, you’ll find:
* A framework grounded in solidarity, internationalism, and praxis.
* Key practices for aligning philanthropy with the visions of social movements.
* Ten takeaways for funders and donors who want to move beyond charity and toward transformative change.

In solidarity,
