President Obama and A.G. Eric Holder are making an urgent plea to all who care about preserving democracy in this critical moment for our country.
Right now, Republicans are trying to redraw congressional district lines to consolidate their power and unfairly keep their grip on Congress through the midterms and beyond. They know their policies are deeply unpopular. So rather than facing their voters at the polls next year, they’re trying to silence them instead.
Listen: Voters are supposed to choose their politicians, not the other way around.
