John,
Time is running out to join us for the 3rd Annual Black Leaders Caucus Fundraising Reception on Wednesday, September 24th from 6:30–8:30 PM ET in Washington, DC! Don't waste a minute - register today!
We’re bringing together an exciting lineup of trailblazers and allies. Texas State Representative Jolanda Jones, a lifelong advocate for justice and equality, is joining us alongside Pennsylvania State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta, a national voice for working families and LGBTQ+ rights. We're delighted to honor Minneapolis City Council Vice President Andrea Jenkins, the first Black out trans woman elected to public office in the U.S., with the A. Cornelius Baker Legacy Award for her tireless advocacy and service.
And last but certainly not least, we are beyond thrilled to welcome special guest Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who has been a fierce defender of democracy and underrepresented communities! Congresswoman Crockett is a fighter, and we're delighted she'll be on hand to celebrate with us.
Black LGBTQ+ Americans are still severely underrepresented in public office. That’s why Victory Fund supporters launched the Black Leaders Caucus in 2022—and in just three years, we’ve grown the number of Black LGBTQ+ elected officials from 91 to 160.
Join us on Sept. 24 to honor this progress, connect with leaders, and keep building the political power our community deserves! Register today!
See you in DC,
LGBTQ+ Victory Fund’s Black Leaders Caucus
