The news just broke: Disney has caved.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” has been pulled from the air “indefinitely.” This isn’t a coincidence. This isn’t a scheduling conflict. This is a direct result of political pressure from Donald Trump and his cronies.

Kimmel was just doing his job. He was telling jokes, speaking truth to power, and calling out the hypocrisy of a political movement that is using a national tragedy to vilify its opponents.

And for that, they are trying to silence him.

This is what it looks like when a democracy dies. When a president and his allies use their power to censor critics. When corporations, afraid of the backlash, bend the knee and betray the very principles of free speech.
